Our 2018 photographic trip proposal fell on the Dolomites.

The Dolomites are one of the  natural buildings  most beautiful in the world. See and experience the true beauty of South Tyrol while contemplating  the peaks of Tre Cime  (Drei Zinnen) or enjoy the last rays of night light that surround  the face of the Rosengarten massif. Come take photos with us on a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Dolomites are part of the Alps. They stretch across northern Italy through the provinces of South Tyrol / Südtyrol, Trento and Belluno, reaching their peak of 3,343m at the top  of Marmolade. The Dolomite region of South Tyrol is particularly rich in photography possibilities, including the spiers, towers and smooth-edged mountains.  Discover the natural park of Tre Cime di Lavaredo in a  walk around the triple towers of the Three Peaks (Drei Zinnen) in the nature park named after him. The holiday region Plan de Corones / Kronplatz captivates visitors with the most modern lifts on South Tyrol's ski mountain and a fantastic 360 panoramic view. ° from the surrounding mountains. In Alta Badia and Val Gardena / Gröden, the valleys influenced by the Ladin culture, rounding the Sella massif, offer us an impressive morning light, particularly when captured in its rocky peaks. An impressive view of the Schlern Mountain awaits you  in the Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm, the largest alpine pasture in Europe. The legendary natural beauty of lake Karersee and lake di Braes  are part of what will be our program in the  Dolomites.

Paulo Pereira

His first real machine was an analogue Minolta, acquired in 1992, which he still keeps religiously. With the transition to digital, his passion grew, he systematically evolved and combined photography with his other passion, travel. With 39 countries under his belt, he combines his travel experience with photography, mastering not only the technical aspects of photography, but also the logistical aspects of travel. During his travels he absorbed a lot of knowledge from other international photographers with whom he shared great photographic moments, namely in Iceland and Scotland, countries that he chooses as dream destinations for any landscape photographer.

Miguel Mesquita

His passion for photography began in the late 90s, with a Pentax film camera, and he had his first digital camera in 2001, a Sony. More recently, he rediscovered his passion for landscape photography. Through his photographic travels, he had the opportunity to photograph several European countries in different scenarios and seasons, improving his technique, even in the most demanding environments. In 2020 he joined the team of photographic leaders at Photo Details Workshops.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What support will I have from photographic leaders?
Note that photo leaders are not tour guides. However, due to the knowledge of the places, they will provide the historical information related to them that are known to them. The main function of the leaders is the organization of the trip, the management  of times and routes so they can be in the right place at the right time. They will be 100% of the time with the participants.
Will I have photographic support from the leaders?
A photo trip is not like a workshop where trainers are totally focused on the participants. On this trip, the leaders will photograph side by side with the participants, and share with the group the  framing, composition and settings. They will of course be available to help anyone in need.
The event states that travel is included, I will have to drive  ?
No. All driving is insured. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the landscape.
The flight is not included in the package, but can I ask the photo details to deal with my flight  ?
Photo details is not a tour operator, but on our trips we have a partner who will be happy to take care of your flight and make you a corresponding offer. It is up to you to choose our partner or deal personally with your usual travel agent.
What photographic equipment do I need to bring, and what clothing  ?
With your registration and reservation, before the date of travel, a detailed program will be sent where all these issues are addressed.
