In 2021 Easter, join us in a photo tour in majesty's lands.

The Lake District is a region and national park in Cumbria in northwestern England. A popular destination for British photographers, yet unknown to photographers in other parts of the world, it is known for its glacial lakes and rugged mountains.

This region is characterized by its country side, mountains with snow-capped peaks, and green fields. It is typically countryside style, with a fabulous natural beauty for landscape photography.

 

After 4 nights on the lakes we will depart for Snowdonia, which is located in the northern part of Wales. In a certain way, with many similarities to the Lake District landscapes, wich is a great complement to our photography tour, keeping the same kind of record.

We will stay in this region for 3 nights, where we will enjoy to explore and photograph its beautiful landscapes.

 

This is surely a great photographic trip for all photography lovers.

His first serious machine was an analog Minolta, acquired in 1992, which still holds religiously. With the transition to digital the passion grew, it was systematically evolving and combining photography with his other passion, travels. With 29 countries in his curriculum, he combines his experience of traveling and photography, mastering not only the technical aspects of photography, but also the logistical aspects of travel. During his travels he absorbed several knowledge of other international photographers with whom he shared great photographic moments, namely in Iceland and Scotland, countries that he choose as dream destinations for any landscape photographer.

Since 1995, with its first SLR (an original Zenit of the former USSR) he makes photography as a hobby. It is from 2008 that the dedication to photography has been given a strong boost and landscape photography has become a passion. Traveling and photographing is the perfect symbiosis and continues to fuel the desire to always want to meet new and unknown corners.
With the pleasure of teaching and training, in 2011 he decides to take another important career step, and acquire certified pedagogical skills in order to work as a trainer.
Since 2013, he leads workshops and shares accquired knowledge with the aim of transmitting this passion to others.

PHOTOGRAPHY HIGHLIGHTS

SUMMARY PROGRAM

Day 1
Attendance at departure airport 2 hours prior to flight time for check-in formalities.
Flight to Manchester via the chosen operator and grouping the participants. Departure for the Lake District with a 9-seater van.
Check in at the hotel and photographic session at sunset in a nearby location.
Accommodation: Hotel 3*** in shared twin room with private bathrooms. Breakfast included.

Day 2 to 4
Early start to photograph the sunrise in a place to be designated according to weather forecasts, return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest.
After lunch, we will shoot other locations and the Sunset.
Accommodation: Hotel 3*** in shared twin room with private bathrooms. Breakfast included.

Day 5
Early start to photograph the sunrise in a place to be designated according to weather forecasts, return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest.
Check out and drive to Snowdonia. After check in, we will shoot the sunset.

Day 6 and 7
Early start to photograph the sunrise in a place to be designated according to weather forecasts, return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest.
After lunch, we will shoot other locations and the Sunset. One of the mornings, we will climb Mount Snowdon by traditional train.
Accommodation: Hotel 3*** in shared twin room with private bathrooms. Breakfast included.
Day 8
Early start to photograph the sunrise in a place to be designated according to weather forecasts, return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest. Pack the luggage and drive to the airport in time to catch the return flight.

FAQs

What support will I have from photographic leaders?
Be aware that the leaders are not tour guides. However, by the knowledge of the places, they will provide the historical information related that they are aware of. The main job of the leaders is the organization of the trip, the management of the times and routes so that all can be in the right place at the right time. They will be 100% of the time with the participants.
Will I have some photographic support of the leaders?
A photo trip is not like a workshop where leaders are totally focused on the participants. In this trip, the leaders will photograph side by side with the participants, and share with the group the frames, composition and settings. They will be available to help those who need it.
The program mention that the transportation are included, will I have to drive?
No. All driving is assured. You just have to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the landscape.
The flight is not included in the package, but can I request photo details some booking help regarding my flight?
Photo details is not a tour operator, but in our travels we have a partner who will be happy to book your flight and make you a corresponding offer. It is up to you to choose our partner or personally deal with your usual travel agent.
What do I need to bring regarding photographic equipment, and what about clothing?
With your registration and booking, before the date of travel, you will be sent a detailed program where all these issues are addressed.
