#C4  IMAGE EDITING COURSE

Editing is the last step in finalizing a photograph before exposing it to the world. There is always something controversial, editing today is part of the world of digital photography and it is essential to achieve the vision that the photographer had when making a particular record.

In addition to giving an important balance of tones and colors, it allows, through its tools, to obtain a certain objective underlying the will that the photographer wants for the final result of the same.

Editing does not transform a bad record into a good photograph, as it should always have a good record based on the technique and composition of the elements. Editing can help turn a good record into an excellent photograph…  but incorrect use of editing can also turn a good record into a poor quality photograph.

Our aim in this course will not be to teach workflows, nor image editing presets. What we propose is to teach what each tool does, so that the photographer, considering what he wants to achieve, can select and use the correct tools.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

At the end of it, participants must know how to identify which tool to use to achieve a certain purpose. They should be able to know how to use all the tools at their disposal in order to obtain a balanced and appealing image.
