MILKY WAY

If you look at the sky in a clean dark night, away from the light pollution, you will see a thin band of light crossing the skies. This is the Milky Way, home to our Solar System. Here there are at least another 200 billion stars (more recent estimates provide a number of about 400 billion) and their planets, thousands of swarms and nebulae, including at least almost all of the objects in Messier's catalog that are not galaxies ( two globular clusters may be considered as possible exceptions because they are being or have recently been incorporated or imported into our galaxy from dwarf galaxies that are currently passing through our Milky Way: M54 of the dwarf elliptical galaxy of Sagittarius, and possibly M79 of the Great Dwarf. All objects in the Milky Way orbit in a center of mass called the Galactic Center.

Casa do Penedo, due to its shape and location, is an excellent place to view and photograph Via Lactea. Being a restricted access place, this workshop is an opportunity to photograph in this scenario.

In this Workshop, we intend to share with you how to photograph the milky way, helping to define the parameters to be used using the methods of the 500 and / or NPF rule.

We will discuss how the use of apps for smartphones can help to plan this type of photography, using Photopills.

We will also have the opportunity to make a star trail.

PHOTOGRAPHY HIGHLIGHTS

FAQs

What support will I have from photographic leaders?
In the photo details workshops leaders rarely photograph so that they can be 100% available to participants. There will be times when they will photograph side by side with the participants and share frames, composition and advisable settings.
The program says that the transportation is on account of each participant, will it be possible to share vehicles?
Yes, it will not only be possible, but also desirable. Usually with the participants who have facebool profile this issue is approached a few days before the workshops in order to combine hitchhiking with each other and share their costs.
How should we proceed with meals not included?
All logistical issues during the program are already adequately ensured.
What do I need to bring regarding photographic equipment, and what about clothing?
With your registration and booking will be sent a detailed program where all these issues are addressed.
