Inside the arctic polar circle, the Lofoten Islands offer all landscape photographers magnificent scenery. Our winter option is to provide a true winter and snow trip to our participants and why not also the sighting of the northern lights, which is always a fabulous phenomenon to see and photograph.

Our trip will be divided into 2 parts, where we will initially explore the southernmost area of the islands and then head further north for the last part of the trip.

We will be staying in typical Rorbu huts, on a 4 person per cabin basis, with 2 rooms (Twin / Bunk beds). The cabins are well equipped with the necessary to prepare lunches / dinners if that's the option of our participants. We will have available near the cabins, restaurant service for anyone who wants. The huts are well heated, so it becomes a beautiful shelter after hours of outdoor stay in the cold.

As usual in our travels, as long as weather conditions allows, we will privilege the best hours for photography, which in the case of this trip is not at all of the worst schedules, considering that the sunrise is at almost normal hours and the sunset takes place around 17.30, allowing a good period of rest to our participants. This of course changes if we have the opportunity to have nights of Northern Lights that no one will want to miss. If this happens, we will adapt our daily program accordingly.

The harsh of winter at this time is something that everyone should take into account, so we will give detailed instructions of what needs to be assured in terms of clothing and accessories. Above all, we want our participants to feel comfortable taking amazing pictures.
